I hearken back to my bottom feeding days when I came across this 2008 Mercedes E350. I know nothing of the car other than what I saw at the curb. From the body looks good with no rust. There are a couple of scratches and a ding and rock chip or two. The interior looks clean and the car has the appearance of good maintenance. It’s a $60,000 car selling for $5700 after 9years of use. Seems like a deal.......
It’s in Western Wisconsin. Road trip anyone?

It’s hard to say. I would base any purchase decision on the quality of the previous owner. However how bad can a 9 year old Mercedes be assuming reasonable care? I looked on Autotrader and most ‘08's are hitting 150,000 to 180,000 miles so they is it really that bad of a choice to put $5700 obo on one be?

MB fanboy stepping in. It’s an 06 - the sign says so, and W211 had a facelift for model year 2007+, which this doesn’t have.
“Fully loaded” is a funny claim - I see it doesn’t have parktronic, doesn’t have lighting package, doesn’t have pano, etc. Not a 4-Matic either. I suspect it has tex, too. This is a normal E-class, not an oddball high option car. Price seems fair. W211 was not MB’s pinnacle, but later ones seem to be OK. I’d want a good PPI and carfax etc.

Agreed, although I do really like the new one. Just not distinguishable enough from the other sedans.

No. Ugliest E class ever. The previous generation is classic and the generation after is handsome. Current gen is average.

ps, I have a common reading impairment, I think I have read stuff that I really haven’t. tis a ‘06 as you say.
